DAF WELCOMES THREE NEW BOARD MEMBERS!

We are sure you trust DAF to have your back, just as you have always done for yeas now- the name you can trust and you did with ovr 1,000 personal lettrs for me to hand deliver to Congress.- we have an unequaled good "brand recognition amongst NFL retirees-- remember, we were the 1st NFL retiree advocate website of it's kind, and as you know, w/in a year there were dozens of imitators.

Our Board of Directors has always been rock solid- ROMAN GABRIEL, JOE KAPP, KENNY EASLEY, BIG ED WHITE, COL. JACK KELLY USMC RETIRED, AND MYSELF AS FOUNDER/PRESIDENT.

WE ARE EXTREMELY PROUD TO INTRODUCE SOME NEW FACES AND NEW BLOOD INTO OUR BOARD, AND I GUARANTEE YOU WILL APPROVE..THE NEW MEMBERS ARE AS FOLLOWS....

1- GREG KOCH ,- A MEMBER OF GREEN BAY'S HALL OF FAME

2- NEAL OLKEWICZ- A 3-TIME SUPER BOWL CHAMP WITH REDSKINS

3- DOING DOUBLE DUTY AS A BOARD MEMBER AND OUR SPOKESWOMAN,

ALICIA KRAMER ( DAUGHTER OF PACKER LEGEND AND FOUNDER OF GRIDIRON GREATS JERRY KRAMER!)

Alicia Kramer, DAF Board member & spokeswoman, and her dad Jerry Kramer enjoy some golf

(sorry Greg and Neal- no pics of you yet...)

4- also formally joining us as advisor and IT expert, Andy Flagg, A DUTY HE HAS FAITHFULLY PERFORMED SINCE DAY ONE.

SO AS YOU CAN SEE, DAF, THE ORIGINAL WEBSITE FOR RETIREES, THE ORIGINAL "INDEPENDENT" GRASSROOTS GROUP ( a term later stolen and used for self-grandizement by unscrulous folks), HAS NOT DIED. WE ARE JUST BEAT UP AND TIRED. YOU CAN SEE EXCITING THINGS ARE COMING TO HELP RETIREES- NOT MORE INFIGHTING BETWEEN DIFFERENT FACTIONS OF RETIREE GROUPS- WE WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN THAT, AND WE HAVE PARTNERED AND WORK VERY CLOSELY WITH WWW.DAVEPEAR.COM.

DAF CANNOT AND SHOULD NOT CLOSE DOWN OUR WEBSITE- AFTR ALL, IT PIONEERED SO MANY CHANGES- BUT WE HAVE DECIDED TO FOCUS ON GOING STRAIGHT TO THE FANS, CELEBRITIES, MEDIA, SPONSORS, etc.

WE URGE YOU TO CONTINUE TO VISIT AND SUPPORT OUR BROTHERS AT WWW.DAVEPEAR.COM !

Dave & Robert;& DAF, are truly working in harmony and sharing the goal of improving lives of NFL retirees-we could care less who's  worthless RP group you join or all the other distractions Roger and De successfuly threw in our way for many to trip over.

Thanks for your neverending trust- I have never let you down. Join DAF and Dave Pear as we circle the wagons to bring thwe right people to the conversation and we solve our pension, disability, and vesting problems...so that weALL may live out our lives in  DIGNITY...

Love to you all,

Brent Boyd

House Judiciary Blasts Goodell & NFL re: concussion damage!

Former National Football League player Brent Boyd (C) rubs his head while sitting next to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell (L) during a hearing of the House Judiciary Committee about football brain injuries on Captiol Hill October 28, 2009 in Washington, DC. A recent study of retired players suggested that N.F.L. retirees ages 60 to 89 are experiencing moderate to severe dementia at several times the national rate. Boyd suffers from headaches, depression, fatigue and dizziness caused by what his doctors diagnosed as post-concussion syndrome.
