KENNY EASLEY 3 time 1st team All American at UCLA
KENNY EASLEY 1984 NFL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR 1980'S NFL ALL DECADE TEAM 5 PRO BOWLS
Easley was on a most-certain course to the NFL Hall of Fame, when he became debilitated by a life threatening condition caused by over medications given exclusively to him by Seahawk team doctors. This caused severe kidney disease and prematurely ended Easley's career...after a bitter fight with indisputable evidence known by the public and media, Kenny was forced to agree to a smaller "settlement" rather than receive full benefits. The legal machine and deep pockets of the NFL know no morals. (click here)--- KENNY EASLEY'S STORY "He'd be a Hall of Fame player (had he played longer). Maybe he still is. He was that good." (Bill Walsh speaking of Easley)
Delvin Williams Delvin, one the greatest men you will ever meet, has a most extraodrinary story to tell of his battle against this NFL disability board. Read his story here, of the decades- long battle that resulted in DELVIN having to pay the NFL over $100,000 for legal fees, even though his claim was approved! Delvin's story can be read by clicking here to read one of two letters (>> Letter to Senator Dorgan), it is a "must read"...no matter who you are, you can't read Delvin's story and not walk away angry and outraged
Big Ed White Ed is a founding member of DAF and is actively recruiting friends and old teammates to join our cause. Big Ed White is one of the greatest players in NFL history, the crime being he is not yet in the NFL Hall of Fame..voters, correct this! Big Ed is caught in the fires in San Diego County and has been evacuated from his home. We pray for the safety of Ed, Joann, and his family during these tragic fires. (from wikipedia): Dan Fouts (Chargers QB 1973-1987 and NFL Hall of Fame in 1993) believes White deserves induction in the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Fouts cited the length of White’s career, his four Pro Bowl trips and four Super Bowl appearances with Minnesota. “No question about it,” Fouts said. “When he retired, nobody had played in more games (241) as an offensive lineman than Ed White. They don’t have any statistics for offensive linemen other than Pro Bowls and Super Bowls, and those are things Ed has done. He was one of the most feared offensive linemen in the game. You talk to guys like Howie Long and Matt Millen who had to go against Big Ed. They hated it.” ED WHITE'S STORY COMING HERE SOON! until Ed returns from the fire, here is a story from San Diego's North County Times
Big Ed and Joann with grandkids on his 60th Birthday..
COL. JACK KELLY Not from the NFL, even more distinguished... One of America's greatest combat heroes, Col. Jack Kelly USMC Retired (with his beloved Fighting Irish). Considered the "Ditka" for returning war heroes, helping raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to fill in where the VA misses, Col. Kelly is nonetheless OUTRAGED at the treatment given disabled NFL players.
here is a pic of Col. Kelly's reunion with one of his own "guns", on" loan" to the fabulous new USMC Museum at Quantico...this enormous popgun (battleship sized), unkown to U.S. intelligence at the time, was captured by Kelly and his men, this picure is the first moment he saw it since Feb 20, 1969.

DAVE PEAR 1st TAMPA BAY BUC EVER SELECTED TO PRO BOWL STARTED SUPER BOWL XV FOR OAKLAND RAIDERS PLAYED 1975-1980 A LONG SUFFERING FORMER PLAYER, A VICTIM OF THE DISABILITY BOARD AND AN ADVOCATE FOR DISABLED NFL PLAYERS DAVE PEAR'S WORDS AND STORY COMING HERE SOON Dave and Heidi Pear
(Pear photos by Rod Mar/Yahoo Sports) This looks innocent,,but it is what the NFL relies on. (sorry Dave!) Those of us who need the most help are too tired to fight, we get so angry it effects our health, we don't have the money to take on these billionaires...not as individuals we don't.
BUT, if we finally come together as a group, spread the workload and resources, and most of all use DIGNITY AFTER FOOTBALL to tell ALL OUR STORIES, one after another after anoher..after all, we have hundreds...and if we join forces with Bruce Laird's Fourth and Goal and Gridiron Greats, we can bring justice for the disabled and fairness to those on pensions. We won't rely on any one person, we will rely on our power of numbers, and come at them at waves. The DAF plan is for all of us to speak out, give a little, do a little, go back to sleep, but realize this problem can't wait months to be fixed...guys are suffering horribly today, no more "delay, deny, and hope we die"..let's get his fixed by the Super Bowl and be napping by the Pro Bowl... WITH DIGNITY !!! DIGNITY AFTER FOOTBALL DAVE PEAR IMAGES these are but a small sample of images, provided by and posted with permission of Heidi and Dave Pear, to show you in the media, you the fans, or you former players hiding on the sidelines, the preposterous and surreal legal opinions that are denying us our obvious rightful benefits... In the NFL plan;s legal counsel , Groom Lw's minds, the ONLY way these bolts and screws and countless surgeries on Dave Pear must be because "Mother Nature" implanted these screws...his career as a violent and renowned nose-guard could NOT have any connection... so don't hate the NFL, or Ell or Groom Law, maybe this was Mother Nature who inserted this hardware....
Wayne Hawkins One of the original Oakland Raiders, Wayne Hawkins had a long and successful career in the AFL/NFL. Wayne was the Raiders team rep long before Gene Upshaw took the job. Now residents of Reno, NV, Sharon and Wayne Hawkins have been battling the NFL for decades to try to get ONE ounce of dignity. Wayne suffered from many football injuries, the most debilitating a series of concussions.
